“The Walk”
How do we walk with Christ--daily follow Him, grow in Him, and faithfully serve him? Jesus modeled the Christian spiritual life for us. The apostles taught it in their writings. And the Church has sought to pursue this Christian spiritual life through the last 2,000 years.
The Walk focuses on five essential spiritual practices that are rooted in Jesus' own walk with God and taught throughout the New Testament. Those are:

Worship
Study
Serve
Give
Prayer

During these 6 weeks, deepen your own walk with Christ. Experience more of God in your life and together, let’s become the people God wants us to be.
Growing your faith is growing
closer to Jesus Christ.

New Church Wide
Sermon & Study Series
In this New Year, we are excited
to do something new at One Community Church. Sharing in this church wide study is an opportunity for each of us to grow closer in our walk with Christ, closer in our walk with each other, and it will also allow families to connect in the teachings and discussions each week.
Kids, youth and adults alike will share in a
sermon and study series called, “The Walk”. Here’s how it will work.
Children’s Ministry
Each week in Sunday School, the kids will learn the same weekly practice the adults are learning about. We will use “The Walk”
Children’s Leaders Guide for the kids.
Youth Ministry
Each week the youth will join the adults in worship for the sermon and video teaching in place of Youth Sunday School. Then during Youth Group each Sunday, Miss Ashley will use a Youth Leaders Guide for “The Walk” and have Youth Small Group teaching and discussion.
Adults
Each week during worship the adults will hear the sermon and video teaching. Small Group teaching and discussions will be offered as a weekly daytime and evening in person option, or an online Zoom option.
