Why is volunteering necessary to the community?
Engaging in community projects has a lasting, positive impact on our community as a whole. Volunteering allows you to acquire and share life skills and knowledge, as well as provide a service to those who need it most. YOU make a difference in the lives of others.
We will prepare and serve our first meal at Hope House this year on Sunday, February 22. The food donation board will be in the back of the Sanctuary February 8 - 22 if you would like to purchase ingredients for the meal. If you would like to help prepare the food, we are meeting after the Traditional Service from Noon - 1:30 pm in the OCC Kitchen on Sunday, 2/22. We need dicers, choppers and food preparers. We also need a small crew of 3-4 people to serve the meal on site. If you would like to prepare or serve, please contact Kelsey in the church office or email kwebb@beocc.org.
