One Community Young Adults
A ministry for young adults ranging from 18-30 years old.
Young adults is a broad category that encompasses individuals at various stages of life. From just entering or finishing college, to launching one’s life and career, to settling down and beginning the next stage of life, young adulthood is full of exciting life changes, growth, and transitions.
While young adults are at different life stages throughout their late teens to their 20’s-30’s, they share a common desire for community, acceptance, and belonging.
One Community Young Adults provides a space for young adults to build authentic community, experience genuine acceptance, and have a place of belonging. Together we are one community and make up one body in Christ that seeks to serve the one true, living God.
Vision: Serve, Teach, Community
Serve
Once a quarter, there will be a planned service project. Service projects are an opportunity to serve God’s Kingdom and share His love. Through partnering with and serving at various organizations, and helping those in the community, we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ. Additional serving opportunities will be available throughout the year through Reach ministries at the church.
Teach
Teach is where spiritual growth occurs. Through small groups, Bible studies, YA Talks, and conferences, young adults will grow deeper in their faith, while also building authentic community.
Community
We are created to be in community with others. Authentic community creates an environment where everyone feels safe, accepted, and loved. It offers a space for everyone to belong. Through community events, worship nights, and small groups, we engage in community with one another and grow deeper in our relationships.
You do not have to be at a specific point in your faith journey to join One Community Young Adults. Everyone is welcome, whether you are new to the faith, have been a believer for years, or you are not sure what Christianity is all about and have questions.
No matter what point you are at in life, we would love for you to join us! Our hope is that through attending One Community Young Adults, you experience authentic community, genuine acceptance, and find a place of belonging.
